Reverie And Redemption (ARC)

⭐⭐⭐⭐
Release Date: December 9, 2021
Genre: Paranormal Reverse Harem
Blurb:
I'm in love with three men. I'm just not sure if they're a dream come true or my worst nightmare.

It began with hearing voices - just another step on my steady descent into madness. It was inevitable, considering the whole town hated me and I was the loneliest person on the planet.

I didn't really blame them, I guess. Everyone who got close to me ended up in the hospital. I'd be suspicious of me too.

When the three distinct, alluring voices in my head started to appear before my eyes as three distinct, gorgeous men I really started to question everything I thought I knew.

They called themselves Dreamwalkers and told me they were hunting the monster attacking all the people around me.

They won't leave me alone.

I'm not sure I want them too.

But am I the monster they're after? Or are we all in worse danger than I ever could've imagined.

Review:
Thank you to Grey's Promotions and Kaydence Snow for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I fell in love with Kaydence's writing when I read her Evelyn Maynard Trilogy a few years ago, so when I found this ARC on my Kindle I was thrilled to be back in one of her worlds.

My absolute favorite aspect of this standalone is the idea of Dreamwalkers or Sandmen as Reverie continually refers to them. It's an idea that I have not read about and I think the spin she put on it was perfect. We meet Reverie when she has woken up in the middle of the forest, alone in only her old shirt and raggedy underwear. She's managed to sleep walk miles away from her home and now has to worry about who will be the next person to fall into an unexplainable sleep.

For years, she's been alone and never able to be close to anyone for fear that whatever curse she has will put those she cares about into a coma without explanation. Reverie is a spitfire with her sarcasm and wit, making her a great heroine. I love that while she believes she's a tad bit nutty for hearing voices, she's rolls with it and begins interacting with them even more.

The guys, Oskar, Sinan and Hollis are great heroes because of their uniqueness. Kaydence wrote three guys from all different time periods that while on paper shouldn't mesh well, come together to create a brotherhood to support Reverie. Oskar with his gentle and brilliant mind, Sinan with his dark, commanding presence and Hollis with his sunshine and jokes make Reverie realize that she's stronger than she ever could have believed and loved beyond anything she dared hope for.

The spice and group activities in this book are sure to make you blush. There is no shortage of steam and smut! Their journey from meeting in the Dreamworld to fighting side by side in the waking world progresses beautifully with the growth of their relationship as a group. The final showdown with the monster they've all been hunting was exciting and also heartbreaking, just the right mix of suspense and relief. I found myself reading long into the night and having crazy dreams of my own. It was different from what I've been reading and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Side note, that cover is stunning, right?!
