Review:
Thank you K.M. Ryan for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

K.M. Ryan is a new to me author as well as a self published author. After spending years writing on her own, I'm so glad she has decided to share her writing with the rest of us!

Kailynn and Chase's story starts with a bit of the forbidden romance trope since she has hired him to be her lawyer after ending her 9 year relationship and business partnership with her ex-boyfriend. The attraction between them is instantaneous and has just he right amount of sexual tension.

I loved that while the book starts with them remaining professional, even though neither want to, it does not end when they get together. With a lot of books readers are left wondering and wishing they had just a little bit more of the happily ever after. I feel like K.M. did a great job showing us how Chase and Kailynn are as a couple. Let's all stop for a minute and applaud the fact that these two characters are mature adults who COMMUNICATE! If there was a problem, it was talked about. Hell yes! That's the way it should be.

Another aspect of this book I loved was their trip to Montana. There's always something special about seeing our main characters interact with each other and the families. I wanted to smack Chase's mom a couple of times for her lack of censure, but of course mom's meddle, right? By the end of the visit, I was in love with the family and their dynamics.

This is book 2 in Ms. Ryan's What If series, but can be read as a stand-alone. I really enjoyed getting to read Kailynn and Chase's story. K.M. Ryan is coming into her own as an Indie author of contemporary romances, her books just keep drawing her readers in and I for one am excited to see what's next!
