Genre: Holiday Romance
Blurb:
Adam Dunbar was once the boy who never gave me a second glance. Now he's the hot billionaire next door who can't look away.

I go home to Fairhill for the holidays to escape my cramped city apartment and failed career. My to-do's are spending time with family, eat turkey, and watch bad Christmas movies. Reigniting my crush on my brother's former best friend was not on the list.

Adam is back in our small town after a decade away. He's older, richer, and more of a Scrooge than ever. Christmas is commercialism, and he won't have any of it. Me? I start listening to holiday music in October.

But our clashing opinions on the season don't stop the attraction growing between us. Could this grumpy billionaire actually be my perfect Christmas gift in disguise?

And if so... Do they accept returns?

Review:
Continuing on in my Holiday Romance books, I chose to read The Billionaire Scrooge Next Door and was delighted with this short, sweet book.

The story follows Adam and Holly (cute little Christmas name 🎄) who grew up across the street from one another until Adam and his mom were forced away after his father's company embezzled money from the people of Fairhill. Adam has returned after being gone for over a decade to his childhood home, not really knowing why he came back. Holly is back for the holidays ready to soak up time with her family and excited to experience her little Christmas town with all of its magic and wonder. Their paths cross and it soon becomes a challenge for Holly to prove Adam wrong about his annoyance with Christmas.

While Adam's outlook on Christmas is jaded at best, Holly believes that she can make him truly appreciate the spirit of Christmas with her help. Their interactions were so sweet and light hearted, I found myself smiling through most of the story. Olivia Hayle did a great job writing little moments throughout that melted my heart with how cute and sweet they were.

"You said you couldn't have a Christmas tree this year, because Evan's fiancé is allergic, right?'
    'Right,' I say.
'I have space in my house.'
    My mouth falls open. 'Oh."

This book is the perfect mix of holiday cheer, low angst, sweetness and of course some spice! It had the perfect holiday small town setting and was a great quick read during this season!
